Chicken Wontons
Ingredients
- Wonton wrappers
- Filling:
- 1kg chicken (minced or finely chopped)
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp tapioca starch
- Pepper
- Spring onion, finely sliced
- Glue:
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp water
Method
- Combine all filling ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour and water to form a thick paste (this will act as glue).
- Place a teaspoon of filling in the centre of each wonton wrapper.
- Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle, pressing edges to seal.
- Bring the two top corners together, apply a small amount of glue, and press to seal into the classic wonton shape.
